This event ties in with the Patriot Weekend put on by C.V.S.P.I.N., of the Tour De Palm Springs fame. It is the Patriot Ride for our Heroes which is a bicycle ride around the Coachella Valley in several different course lengths. They also have a veteran walk where persons can pledge so much as they walk a shorter distance. This event supports local veterans and first responders. We are proud to associate with them and congratulate them on their new location at the Palm Desert Civic Park in Palm Desert.

This year we are very excited to have the American Legion Riders Area 5 sign on  and promote this event.  The ALR Area 5 is the largest area in Calif. consisting of 33 chapters covering 4 Counties. The Legion Riders are very well known for what they do for veterans, the American Legion Posts, their local community, and youth programs. This year the ALR State President Mick Sobcjak, State Vice President Rey Ruiz, State Secretary Debbie Proffitt, State Seargent at Arms Mike Smith will be in attendance along with other motorcycle riders from around the area.

This event, besides raising funds for local disabled veterans, is a full day of  food, live music, motorcycle games, beer garden, vendors, and organizational booths. Something for everyone.

This is one of several events that are planned through out the year. Please support your local veteran events. A small price for those that have done so much for us.
